- Lenny Kravitz is celebrating a new career milestone! The music legend received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 12 and a few close friends and loved ones were there for his big day. Lenny's daughter, Zoe Kravitz, and her fiancé, Channing Tatum, cheered for Lenny alongside longtime friend Denzel Washington. Zoe and Denzel also delivered speeches honoring Lenny's long career, lovingly roasting the singer and songwriter while paying tribute to what they cherish most about him. And, Lenny himself reflected on his rise to fame and early love for the guitar.

Your daughter, Ms. Zoe Kravitz has been blessed with not one but two amazing parents, actually three. I loved her "roasting" you, especially the see thru shirt part. On a separate note, I loved watching your mother Roxie Kravitz in her role on the Jeffersons. Growing up during that time period, it was nice to African Americans portrayed in a positive, financial wealthy, She was so STYLISH, eloquent and yet had a wonderful sense of humor but could sling barbs back at George Jefferson. So funny! I could go on...I was very shocked when I read of your mother's passing. Didn't know you and Mr. Denzel Washington were best friends, "bruthas". You have lived an amazing life...and for us, your music, talent, warmth and STYLE have been amazing to see and feel. God bless you and your family in the years ahead. More and more convinced Lenny Kravitz is not only phreakin' cool...he's a pretty decent human being. It was his day to celebrate, getting the Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Yet, Lenny turned it into a day to celebrate so many others who have helped him along the way. A beautiful human being remembers the journey and the people who helped him along the way. I had always wanted to see Lenny Kravitz in concert. I was a waiter serving at this big event. We were serving all the people their dinner and after we finished. Lenny Kravitz came on the stage. I was shocked. So we got to see a free concert of him. He did not disappoint. He played all his hits. He was awesome in concert.
Lenny continues to be amazing in all ways and is ageless.
