Thanks for posting, my 05 5 cylinder colorado, had the same problem, flashing engine light, # 5 code, changed out the coil @ 155K, did the plug too,but left the rest alone, been running great for 2 yrs but am on the alert @ 175k for the rest to get changed , dont be a stranger😄
You’re welcome, yup 9 times out of 10 you lost a coil it seems. I have done the same if the plugs in the car seem ok. Especially on my own car. I should have stated that as well, it’s when there’s unknown service history and you can sometimes tell. Yea that’s never been touched, then I recommend a basic service. Thank you for sharing
Just an FYI For your personal memory data bank Those rain seals at the bottom of the windshield are a known problem on these TB"s I have owned two of them and had issues with water pooling in the number six 386k on the first one before I got t-boned and 186k on the one I have now. The reliability of the first one, made me buy another one that I didn't really need. Lol. I got a great price, and I believe I will always be able to count on it. Cheap trim, and gas mileage like a V-8, but I still like em.
your gonna wanna try to steal the decliration of independance before changing the injectors... very annoying and obnoxiously annoying if you have to pull your alternator like i did... just take it to a shop if you can... i had to bow out of that one... the TRQ video shows the easy engine bay set up... they are not all the same
Unfortunately I can only perform that type of “modification” to off road vehicles and it requires me to tune the ECM. It’s against emission regulations. Why would you want to disable it?

Plugs all come gapped correctly right?
Most claim to and are most times spot on. It’s good to confirm and inspect each plug. You just never know
