I cannot think of any male artist more deserving of a halftime show than Usher. And it’s unfortunate that it has become kinda trendy on Twitter to downplay Usher’s success and overall career. People like to discount everything he achieved in the 90’s and 00’s, but this man is a legend. He has *more than enough material* to choose from for his 13-minute set. Eighteen top 10 Billboard hits and *NINE #1 SINGLES* , please do not play in Usher’s face.
I dont doubt you, but has he got a diverse crowd section of appeal? He's not a global superstar

Who cares how famous he is in UK. Last I checked, the Super Bowl took place in the US, and he is a legend here.
This what the status of King of R&B looks like. Usher has been on stages with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonders and the best of the best. He deserves this more than any entertainer today especially being in Vegas! He gets to commemorate his residency in a Super Bowl performance is ICONIC!

i am so happy about this. Superbowl is long overdue. His voice and moves are untouched. King of R&B. He is so humble and seems so happy and at peace in recent years. one thing i appreciate about Usher, is how his energy & vibe never changed thru the years, with all the new eras/trends. we've a lot of OGs turn into jokes, tryna fit in with the internet kids. Usher didnt. his personality is a throwback to the 90s, early 00s. he never became a washed up hypebeast, tryna fit in with the social media era.
