I put a AR together a few years ago. It shoots about an 1.5” at 100yds my hand loads are about a 1/2” smaller. I would just find a factory load it shoots good and stick with that. Shot a deer with the Winchester 180gr SP, no blood trail it did kill the deer. The entrance and exit holes looked the same in size. I am not the 1st person to have this happen with this cartridge.
First of all, I have no experience with this cartridge, but for deer hunting I would try both the Winchester power point 180 gr and the Federal power shok 180 gr and use whichever of the two shoots the best. The only thing I would want to use the subsonic load for is hog hunting where you might benefit from a quieter, lower recoil load for multiple shots on a group of hogs.
Nice. We are going to be allowed to use it in an alternative season this year. I was going to use the mcarbo spring kit in mine but the back hole is not threaded. So the over travel screw won’t work.
🤷♂ How Did the Recoil Compare to Your 7mm-08 and 308 Winchester? It Seems That Your Accuracy - With Factory Ammunition - is Pleanty Good Enough to Kill a Deer at The Ranges You Will Likely Be Shooting and a Much More "Sensible Choice" Than Most Other Options (Just Enough Gun, But Not Excessive and "Overkill")? 👨🎓

Great info, thanks
Nice rifle. That target looks about done. Replace with a bigger piece. It will pay for itself. Tracking shots is crucial. Nice video
Thanks
Been wanting to try out the .350 Legend in a bolt action. Look forward to more videos on your .350 Legend.
Thanks for watching!
What a beautiful spot for some testing.
👍🏻

Off to a good start. I get large pieces of cardboard from work to help with sighting in. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching!
Nice property
Good stuff man! ❤
Thanks!
Reactive targets is the way to go.

@@Off-target-xy6bx good luck to you
✋, I raised my hand first (I think)
That means I can barrow it. Thanks HB
I have same scope, glass is not good! I also have the 6x18x40 freedom and glass is good. But the 3x9 is not good.
I can’t disagree

Similar recoil to 7mm-08, maybe a little less.
