People tell me it won't work and I say that's fine, you keep doing what you've always done but that isn't working for me and people like me so, come visit!! Do something different. This is the DREAM! We get to start our journey 8 August 2026. We've been gathering tools, resources, and skills like you guys in order to launch our homestead in the U.P. of Michigan. Everything you're doing is exactly how we should be living our lives.
This project is revolutionary! This is the way humanity is meant to be! Work together, live together, play together, and eat together! It’s a family, it’s friends, it’s how things should be! I wish I could be a part of something like this!
But it couldn't in a thousand years function like it does without the modern day infrastructure that's surrounding them supplying them all the essentials only industry can provide.
@@dancarter482 Except for the processed lumber, brick and mortar, solar panels, computers, plastic hoses, metallic piping, vans, cars, ect. These are not bad things, they're taking modern invention and infrastructure and melding it in a way people could live with nature, least on a small scale, its nice and refreshing but its also disingenuous to ignore the fact they have done what they have done with the help of modern technologies and study.
im watching this ever since like the first container installments and I have to say you guys accomplished so much over the two years its insane and this could be netflix worthy project
nice show but let's not exaggerated. I really like watching this channel but a channel like martijndoolaard got way beter cinematography and storytelling. And that's still not netflix worthy.

Thank you UA-cam algorithm! My parents have a plot of land up north that needs some inspiration. Progress has been slow after plopping down a small trailer. Your project shows that the sky is the limit just need to plan and execute.
Now that you have a good foundation, every year should get more interesting in terms of the types of projects you can try and how the land continues to change. Looking forward to it.
I was a teenager in the 60’s (born in 1950) and a young adult in the 70’s. Back then, communal living was a thing. I had a child so It wasn’t an appealing idea. Looking back……I see it in a new light. Communal living, without the drugs and indiscriminate sex, looks like a great idea to me now. You have such a pool of talent and vision with the youthful energy to tackle bringing this land back and starting a wonderful true COMMUNITY. I wish you great success and will be watching 👍🏻❤👍🏻❤👍🏻❤😉😉

Thank you UA-cam algorithm! My parents have a plot of land up north that needs some inspiration. Progress has been slow after plopping down a small trailer. Your project shows that the sky is the limit just need to plan and execute.

I was a teenager in the 60’s (born in 1950) and a young adult in the 70’s. Back then, communal living was a thing. I had a child so It wasn’t an appealing idea. Looking back……I see it in a new light. Communal living, without the drugs and indiscriminate sex, looks like a great idea to me now. You have such a pool of talent and vision with the youthful energy to tackle bringing this land back and starting a wonderful true COMMUNITY. I wish you great success and will be watching 👍🏻❤👍🏻❤👍🏻❤😉😉
