- Welcome to my playthrough for Five Nights at Freddy's 4 on the Nintendo Switch. I apologize for the delay on uploading this, it was rough trying to beat all of the nights I kept dying, but I finally did it. There's a weird delay starting a night when you first go to a door or closet it takes a few seconds but it's find after that. On night 7 I forgot to turn off my mic so you will hear some background noise and my voice when I get excited after beating night 7. Also I'm not sure how to unlock the challenges and balloon boy mini game on Switch since on the PC version to unlock night 8 you had to type in 20/20/20/20 but I don't know what to do on Switch, if anyone knows how let me know in the comments. If I figure it out I'll make another video showing off the cheats and night 8 and the mini game.

Now that I think about it, night 3 is easy. They just become more active.

@@Ace_2055 All you have to do for night 2 is go to each side and listen, then check on Freddy, and then repeat. Foxy may get in this night, where you have to use the light and closet door to check his progress, but it's rare for this to throw a wrench into your strategy.
I beat all 8 nights on switch bc i found a cheat tactic where if you pause and press a and keep doing it you can get through all 8 nights without dying i did it 2 years ago so i dont really remember how i did it
@@nebulavortex3531 I did the same thing for aggressive nightmare mode on FNAF 3 switch because I wanted that extra star, and I already beat nightmare legitimately.
That delay before the JUMPSCARE makes it so much Scarier 😂

In order to unlock 4/20 mode, I think you have to go to extras and press Y and X repeatedly until 20/20/20/20 appears. So I think it's like 4 times.

I got the game yesterday and am wondering if there is a way to get the cheat menu without doing all of the nights. (Because I am bad)
@@Ace_2055 there isn’t a way to get cheats on the first night unless you beat nightmare/420 mode, cus on switch the first 2 games has cheats but the 3rd and 4th games don’t have cheats

Why is there a huge delay when you get jumpscared?
Has to be a glitch on the Switch for some reason, every time I start a night there's a few second delay when I go to the door or to the bed.

I was too scared to play five Nights at Freddy's 4 when I was brave at 3am nightmare Bonnie jumped scared me instantly I didn't hear any breathing
A quick note:
Sometimes the breathing can be delayed.
It is advised to wait 2 or 3 seconds before flashing your light, as it may not happen right away.
The same also applies if you hear footsteps coming from the side you're currently on.
In that case, it's best to wait until the footsteps stop and then listen.
The child doesn't have a walking animation in the cutscenes. Did they fix that in the update?

King KJ don’t know if they fixed it but there’s a second delay the first time going to a door or closet.

King KJ no it’s fine after the first time it’s just really annoying. Again I don’t know if they’re aware of that bug.
@@DarkMatterLuigi I just got it and finished Night 1 but I didn't see any delay. However, I'm not sure as I'm a scared ass who can barely play a FNaF game with sound on, but is obligated to in this game, meaning I keep the volume to a minimum, so I may not have heard it.
King KJ as of this moment in time there is no bugs to be found. At least for me anyways. Everything runs smoothly and perfectly fine.

I could see why it’s easier because since this is a point and click game on consoles and you have no mouse movement and only buttons, on console you have an advantage since you have buttons on the controller to click and go while on PC you have to move your cursor to the specific spot .

But I do recommend being more patient and getting used to the controls, and also listen. Headphones recommended

TheOneRedPanda in the mobile version, you had to double-tap on nightmare in the extras. I don't know if this will work on the switch touch screen, but it's worth a shot

I think it's just a laggy experience sometimes on the Switch sometimes you get lucky I don't know why.
@@DarkMatterLuigi like i tried 4 times to get jumpscared by foxy while looking on the bed for a long time cuz i got the fnaf 4 today and it was still laggy. First the switch was plugged to the charger and the jumpscare lagged. Then i tried to unplug it and the jumpscare still lagged. For the 3rd time i tried to decrease the screen light and it still lagged. And for the last time i tried to clean some space and it still lagged so idk mann…

I don't know how on console. In PC you would type 20202020 in the extras but that's not possible on consoles.
On PS4 you press square and Triangle until 20202020 shows up. It would make sense for it to be Y and X on the switch, but idk.

I can’t seem to beat night 8 it keeps crashing every time foxy gets into the closest. Does anyone know if there’s a way to fix that? I’d like to beat the final night but I can’t cause of this.
Hey! I suppose you finish the game a little while ago. In fact, in january, an update has up badly the game, and since the closet keep crashing. But today, a new update has launched and now the glitch is corrected. (It's not the night 8 in particular but all of nights with Foxy, from night 3) So you have just to update the game, and there will be fine.

@@keykoji7134 Personally, I did not detect any other bug, I just noticed that despite the patch I happened once or twice to meet the crash bug of the game, but it is quite rare. In any case, you can finish the game since the update, at least until night 8 that I have not yet managed to finish (it's still really hard). If you are not sure to buy it, I recommend Fnaf 2 (if you do not already have it) which has, in my opinion, a more pleasant level of difficulty to play. In any case, good game to you.

Hey! Update has just be launched. I have test it, and the bug has be corrected! So don't forget to download the update, it adds an option for change the affichage of the screen too.
