Hi Carla! What a lovely haul! So many great pieces. I absolutely love the Victorian porcelain door knob. That would look great displayed on a table, in a cabinet, or anywhere. Of course I love the Mariam Haskell necklace, and that sterling bracelet with the snake and dragonfly. I can never turn down coral when I find it. I also really like the sterling alcohol bottle tags. I found one at a yard sale a while back. I was thinking of wearing it on a necklace chain, but that might be tacky--I don't know lol.
Hi Carla, I love all things Victorian,so the mesh stickpin bracelet, and yellow glass brooch are a favorite. I also like the coral bead necklace with the delicate "squash Blossom" turquoise necklace. Oh Heck..I like it all !💍💎 And yes, I would love to see a video of your "Fun" earrings, and your husbands Cat collection jewelry. 😺 P.S. The porcelain doorknob is beautiful ! Cindy🦋
Hello Carla. Nice pieces in today’s video. My favorite was the earrings with the chunks of opal in them. I really like the Kirk’s Folly pieces too. I was wondering if the shells on the charm bracelet with the blue glass beads and fish on it opened. I just got a glance, but it looked like they might slide open.
R. Tennesmed! He was an artist that worked in pewter around the ‘60s and his stuff is pretty much one of a kind. I once bought a necklace for either .25 or .50¢ and when I was wearing it in middle school there was a teacher who said hi girls, then did a double take and stopped to ask me about my necklace. She looked like she was stabbed when I told her how much I bought it for. She didn’t even have to look at the back but she said she collects his jewelry and to take care of it. I could see her working out the ethics of buying a necklace off a student in her head because when I look back on it, it was a definite weird long pause and my friends were like ohhh kayyyy that was weird. Haha that was around 2002 or ‘03. And he def had a style. Lots of nature or figural pendants and jewelry. I was drawn and curious to it because the long chain of the necklace had no clasp. And I’d never seen that before but it had good weight to it so I knew it wasn’t just some cheap hunk of jewelry. Even as a child, I had a good eye. Hehe
Thank you so much. You are one of the most responsive people I follow and I enjoy your videos. Will be in touch after I view your last video again. Merry Christmas!
