National Winner: Boris Burniat’s pigeon clocked in at 15:31:32 with an average speed of 1180.71 meters per minute.
Pigeon Count: A total of 4,736 pigeons participated in this challenging race.
Double Feeling: Boris Burniat, a teacher, had mixed emotions. On one hand, he was thrilled with the national victory and securing the 11th spot with another pigeon. On the other hand, he felt disappointed because only 9 out of 20 basketed pigeons returned home from Montélimar.
