I Have had my pictures taken with both Tom and John. I went to the hazzard homecoming Augest 11 and 12 and got their autographs and pictures of both. They both have very good voices. I love both of them.
@44SweetEscape44 Tom Wopat starred 1999 on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun as Annie Oakley's rifleshooting rival, then husband Frank Butler. His acting and singing were superb! There's a cd of the soundtrack (likely rentable at your library) ... treat yourself.
Broadway is awesome, you haven't lived till you've been on a stage ;). but you gotta remember, at the end of the day, there are no Bo and Luke Dukes in real life, just actors portraying those characters.
@ItchyGoomie ive met james best, john schneider, and sonny shroyer several times, all of them were very proud of the work they had done on the dukes, but tom never liked to get together for dukes autographs and meets. he just dosent want to be rememberd as luke.. but he actually started out on broadway back in the early and mid 70s, and thats actually where guy waldron and the dukes producers first discoverd him. so i guess he just went back after all was said and done.
hes really got a better voice than John dose, but it seems as of late hes done everything he can to remove himself from the dukes of hazzard and his luke duke image.
He sings so good and he is a very good actor to .He puts his heart into his words and actions Love him he is one of my heros
I love this song and Tom Wopat, or should I say Luke Duke, singing it makes it that much better.
Belive me as long as im alive that wont happen this is how i learned about him and he is my hero
I had such a crush on Luke Duke (: And when he sang this I sang right with him!
