If you compare v2 to v4 clearly you see the difference in voice bank quality, they're trying to make vocaloids sound more human

This is the first time I actually mistook a Vocaloid for a real person because I had UA-cam open in another window and thought "Wow, this (human) singer is really good!" I love how well her voice communicates the emotions in this song, though, makes it feel twice as adorable!
