23 years later after they disbanded in 1980, The did a 1 off reunion concert in 2003 called Celebration Day as a tribute to Ahmet Ertegun the founder of Atlantic Records and even though they were in their 60's or I know Jimmy and JPJ were in thier 60's but Robert and Bonzo might have been in their late 50's so not the "Rock Gods" they were in the 70's but it is by far their BEST CONCERT EVER!! Jason Bonham filled in for his late father on the drums but he is so good and maybe even better than his dad was. Of course he studied his dads work to be as good as he is.But its like each of the group members put an exclamation !!! point on thier individual talent and the band as a whole because after I watched this concert I was convinced of their #1 rating for rock bands. i was left speechless. Ive watched it several times since and never tire of it. Thats hard for anybody or group to do.
Great reaction video! This song has such intensity of groove and power that it reminds me of their other masterpiece song, When The Levee Breaks…👍😎…the energy of drums on that track is deep too.✌️🥁
This is one of the favorite songs of the band. They had a one night reunion concert with Jason Bonham, son of the great drummer John, in 2007, and that is an incredible rendition of this song
I've just come across your channel for the first time and watched both of your Zeppelin reactions. I already subscribed, hoping for more. I really enjoyed your reactions, thank you! They have been my favorite band for 50+ years! I would highly recommend you start from the first song on their first album and just keep going from there, I promise you will not be disappointed! They were incredibly versatile, no two songs sound the same. They could do anything, any style they wanted to, and just kill it. You'd be amazed! As a bonus, it will help you grow your channel as well. We fans look for reactors that are taking the dive down the rabbit hole! Greatest band ever! ☮️❤️
do me a favor and Play Moby Dick and watch Bonham kill it on a 20 something minute Live Drum Solo, and his Son Jason is no slouch either, he is the drummer with Heart on the Kennedy honors, for Zeplin when heart dose Stairway to Heaven
They always say that, Plant once said that Presence was their finest work, only because Presence was seen as one of the band's least popular among the fans, any way to bolster it up, same with this song.
Anything from them is great, so you can’t go wrong. Studio song, I love You Shook Me 3 amazing solos keyboard harmonica & guitar, with amazing vocals & drums. My 2 favorite lives are Madison Square Gardens (1973) Since I’ve Been Loving You. Live at Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of In My Time Of Dying, that date is the best one for visual & audio. They all are Excellent, Page playing slide guitar is out of this world, it’s an old gospel song. Thank you for your reaction, I’m subscribing so PLEASE a lot more Zeppelin.
Hey chief just subbed to your channel, as you know alot of English rock bands of 60s, 70s took inspiration from American blues like Robert Johnson howlin wolf lead belly etc, main thing is they have never denied it, they were putting a different heavier spin on the blues ✌️
It’s actually recorded strings being played through a mellotron. Which uses taped music through the keyboards. JPJ did the arrangement with the strings, & I believe those musicians.
You’ve probably been told a dozen times already. That’s not strings you’re hearing, it’s John Paul Jones aka JPJ playing a Mellotron. Just a suggestion “please be kind and rewind”, go back a few seconds after your comment
really enjoying your zeppelin reactions. The guitarist jimmy page actually played that song on diddy's album. wait till you hear and see since I've been loving you, live 1973 msg. You will love it!
Diddy Song. "Come with Me" from Godzilla Soundtrack. Jimmy Page plays on it. Heres the thing about Zeppelin songs being used by other media. Page, until I think the late 90's would block EVERY request to do so. So, no Rock Band. No Guitar Hero songs. Not in the movies, tv or commercials hardly at all. But around the late 90's, he started allowing peeps to use their songs on a limited basis. So, you won't hear Zeppelin songs on a ton of stuff.
Interesting! Do you know why he blocked it? I'm sure it's to keep the music pure. Especially with commercials, You run the risk of watering the songs down (for lack of a better phrase). Prince was the same way.
@@AnxietyActor Well, with Guitar Hero and Rock Band he said he didn't like the idea of the kids playing ANY song by ANY group on a toy guitar. But he said it in a much nicer way. He felt if you wanted to learn to play Zeppelin songs, you should learn to play on a real guitar. He was all for that. With movies and commercials and such, I am not sure why. Your reason sounds plausible though. Only that there are very few recordings of Zeppelin in concert. The only official concert is "The Song Remains the Same." Most of the rest of the stuff is bootlegs Page found and cleaned up and released in the early 2000's on a double dvd. I think he just didn't believe in recording the concerts for some reason. And only much later in the early 2000's did he change his mind some. Zeppelin really didn't even release many singles either. Zeppelin and their manager, Peter Grant, was the first group to wrestle the control of their music from the record label. Atlantic. They even formed their own label, Swan Song, after their 4th album. Bad Company is under Swan Song. Until then, the record label got like 80%(made up number but you get the idea) of the profits. Zeppelin changed all that and once Zeppelin started getting a much bigger slice of the pie, everyone in every genre of music started demanding the same. Maybe him not letting their music out had something to do with this?
After that KIZZ comment I saw you drop like a LED Balloon but fortunately you had a bungee cord on and bounced back. Funny LOL! 😠 Don't do it again!!! Just kidding.

Greatest band in history! Every genre...every song...absolutely magnificent! Watch their live performances!!
Nice! Thanks for the advice. I'll look for live performances
The rock Gods
Thanks for the Led Zeppelin ❤
Great reaction video! This song has such intensity of groove and power that it reminds me of their other masterpiece song, When The Levee Breaks…👍😎…the energy of drums on that track is deep too.✌️🥁
I totally agree!
Great reaction. Try my favorite Led Zeppelin song, "Since I've been loving you "
Blues rock masterpiece.
Live at Madison Square Gardens (1973), these guys are excellent with the blues.
I freaking love this song....sounds like a giant stomping on the ground on every bass drum beat.
This is one of the favorite songs of the band. They had a one night reunion concert with Jason Bonham, son of the great drummer John, in 2007, and that is an incredible rendition of this song

So true, I look for Led Zeppelin reactions, also a fan for 50 years, love seeing people hear songs for the first time.
@@sicotshit7068 Yep, me too!
Thank you for the Sub and the Zeppelin advice!
Your right i was reaching for the button when you said, Kiss, lol and John Bonham on Drums is a legend.
Greatest drummer ever.
Bwhahaha! I KNEWWW that would get a reaction and side eye from fans lol. Thanks for the watch! 🫡
do me a favor and Play Moby Dick and watch Bonham kill it on a 20 something minute Live Drum Solo, and his Son Jason is no slouch either, he is the drummer with Heart on the Kennedy honors, for Zeplin when heart dose Stairway to Heaven
@@jewsbad I’d suggest the 20 minute Moby Dick solo from Royal Albert Hall (1970).
Though Jimmy Page founded the band & produced mixed & edited all the music, all 4 were equal parts of the band. They are The GODS Of MUSIC!
Diddy got Jimmy Page to PLAY this for his song for the Godzilla soundtrack in 1998. He didn't sample it.
Ahhhh great info! Not a normal Diddy practice
Greatest band in history.
Yes and it's a great race for second but not close for FIRST !....LOL
This is the song that the members of Led Zeppelin feel is pretty much their best work.
They always say that, Plant once said that Presence was their finest work, only because Presence was seen as one of the band's least popular among the fans, any way to bolster it up, same with this song.

Check it out live…even better. When you got it, live can’t beat! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’d suggest Knebworth (1979) first then Celebration day in (2007). Minus John Bonham, they still rock the hell out of it in their 60’s.
I always subscribe for Zeppelin.
The drums are in 4/4 time...but everything else is in 3/4 time, which means everything meets up every 12 measures.

Zeppelin doesn't allow others to use their music easily.
It’s not strings…it’s the keys played through a synth! Holy Moly! They only used out side help, and the was a female vocalist…and only once!
It’s actually recorded strings being played through a mellotron. Which uses taped music through the keyboards. JPJ did the arrangement with the strings, & I believe those musicians.
Yep, they used a morroccan string band in the studio.
They used strings for the studio recording. Melotron was used for rain song.
Nice!
@@davidreilly8888 I don’t believe those musicians were Moroccan at that time, though Plant & Page toured in the 90’s with a Moroccan band.

Cypress hill London Philharmonic gig in London was great btw 👍
I saw It! Thank You Simpsons! lol
It was in fast times at ridgemonte high
Boom. Nailed it!
You almost had with that Kiss comment 😮
😆
Hahaha KISS is nowhere near the caliber as ZEPPELIN
I know. It was a joke 😆

Dislike. You paused too much, often at the wrong times, and didn't have the courtesy to rewind 10 seconds before resuming play. smh
Welp. Can't please everyone. Dueces
Among the worst songs they have ever recorded... long, drawn-out, boring, with lyrics we can't understand..
Cloth ears!
