Good day, I bought this software today.. How do I remove the text without translation? I just want to remove the text in the manga..
You can find the text-removed images in the images folder after viewing the translated version. You can also remove the source text and the target text so that it will not display any text.

Hello. This seems to be a pretty good tool. I want to know if the personal use version counts as that full version you mentioned? There are lots of mangas/doujins I'd like to read and I want to know if the personal version has those options and elements to translate them
Personal use and commercial versions are in terms of your purpose. Full version and cross-platform versions are in terms of how you install it. So you can use the full version if you buy it for personal use.
Two Questions
does this work only in manga ? .. i am translating some DC Comics, would it work there as well ?
and could i add my font, i am translating from english to arabic, and i have a specific font for arabic, could it import it and work with it ?
You can translate any types of images and add whichever font you need to use.

You have to buy it again if you need to use new versions released 6 months after your purchase.

i am facing difficulties however installing an arabic font, i read the documents, imported from photoshop, and added it as a font but the font doesnt change at all, Only the size... how to fix this ?
@@Evolixable There are two font names. One is the font name used in PS and the other is the font name used in the tool. The former will only be effective when you export the result to a PSD file. The latter will work in the program.

Can you do a basic setup guide for the software I just bought it not to long ago and I cant seem to get it to work.

@@Tuti39 Its not mentioned but when you do buy it make sure you download the windows version. There is a 64bit and 32bit version.
@@bakuya99 I downloaded the full version and now it works ! I had the cross platform version at first which didn't work at all, didn't see the readme.txt

is Lama inpainting plugin for ImageTrans still working? I've done all the step but when i use it in TextRemoved, a red line appeared in lama-cleaner: "POST/ inpaint HTTP/1.1" 400
It requires lama-cleaner 0.12.0.
Good method. Besides, I usually use Immersive Translate to help me translate manga pitcures directly. And I think its translation is accurate

Tell me something, that ocr only works if the source is japonese or can i use that from other sources like...
Example i'd like to translate from a Spanish source to English, can ocr recognize Spanish?

Hi, when I try to use deepl in the browser (although it does OCR) it never translates over the browser. Only the deepl happens.
The embedded browser uses an old engine which may not be able to render some web pages correctly. Google should work okay.

Yes. It can run on Windows 7 and newer versions.
Way too much process/installation for a paid software. Can't say if I'll recommend it.
Are you using the full version? You only need to extract it to run it. As for additional setup of OCR, machine translations, etc., it is your own choice.

There is no trial version. ImageTrans integrates third-party machine translation services like Google. The accuracy is the same as these services. ImageTrans can help you organize text into a meaningful paragraph so that the machine translation can produce a better result. You could send a sample to me so that I can have a demo for you. Check the email on its website.
I just checked the images. Since it is a novel, I think you'd better find a text version of it instead of using ImageTrans. ImageTrans has to run OCR first. The extracted text may have wrongly-recognized characters, which will affect the translation. If there is a text version, there is no need to use OCR. It is possible to use ImageTrans to translate these images (see the video: github.com/xulihang/ImageTrans-docs/issues/114#issuecomment-991857781 ). But it takes more time.

No matter what I try it gives me this file format is not supported what file format is supported
Which file format is your image file? ImageTrans supports png, jpg and bmp.

But I was quite confused on how to download to install... lines of code many files...all that was installed was basiccat.
Imagetranslator doesn't exist in a file... What am I doing wrong...
BasicCAT is different from ImageTrans. It is a computer-aided translation tool to translate documents.

I used Baidu translation in the video. Its quality is not very good, so I have to post edit the translation. Other translation services like Google and DeepL may have a better Japanese-English quality. ImageTrans supports more than 10 machine translation services.
ImageTrans is a computer-aided translation tool which makes it easy for translators to change the text. I think machine translation cannot replace human translator. That's why I showed changing the translation, though I am not good at Japanese.
