I have both and they are both good. But for me, the belt bag is purely for necessities (phone, wallet, chapstick, airpods, keys) as it doesn't have much room for other items. The round mini bag is good for carrying necessities with room for other items (pads/tampons, sunglasses, hand lotion, sanitizer, etc)

I usually am very careful with light colored bags, but I believe it is washable
