I gotta say Mike, thats a great hillbilly fix that just impresses this old hillbilly, LOL. When you couple 60-70 year old warn parts with new parts that just don't meet the standards of the originals you end up with hillbilly engineering. I don't see a thing wrong with that. I've got some old hose doing all sorts of modifications on my stuff. Good job.
Oh yeah thanks Dave, do you notice the word Hillbilly comes up a lot with us, i love it, LOL, old Jed would be proud of us, yes over time the copper button on top of the starter has worn down right where the switch makes contact, i should pull the starter and service it, that would make for a video, i will call some of the truck parts places i use and see if that copper button can be replaced, do you know if it can be ?, you take care my friend, i am just about to watch your latest video
This is my kind of fun little project. The fix was simple effective and low cost!
Thank you very much
I just did this with the brake light switch, quick and cheap, can't beat that with a big stick.
So nice it was uploaded twice!!!!!
