We really like it as well. Got it used from an antique shop and it looks and sounds great! If it isn't an authentic I wouldn't really care. I grew up with Grandfather clocks in various family member's houses.
I have a Howard Miller grandfather clock but cant find the model number or name and howard miller wont help me. i have the serial number on the door of the clock.Do you know how to identify the model? Thanks so much either way.My clock is about 25-30 years old..
Wow nice grandfather clock my grandmother has a grandfather clock that doesn’t work exactly like that it’s different plays the Westminster chime on 4 chime rods and it Strikes on 4 chime rides this one Plays the Westminster chime on 4 chime rods and it strikes on 3 chime rods That’s how they’re different
Thanks, we really like it. It looks and sounds good. We don't care if it is new or old. What we do know is we didn't buy it new and it is still in great shape.

@@nftkm2 it definitely is authentic Howard miller is such a big company that they would sue anyone faking one of their clocks
You should do a winding video for this clock. That would be so cool
I might do that, it will be a tight fit to get a camera in by the gears
@@nftkm2 You just have to point it at the weights as you wind up the clock.
@@carwashslayer4235 That would be easier, thought the video of the chains going around the gears would be cool as well.
I finally got around to doing a winding video.

It’s nine o’clock fascat time
The clock is actually from the 90s
Yes, we did more digging. We sent the S/N to Howard Miller and they said it is 1999. All that matters to us was that looks and sounds great.

@@whocares0316 could you do a video?
Really unusual how the chime rods are to the right instead of in the middle.
I like it that way. It is 5 chime rods. The first 3 chime rods hit the rods at the same time for the hour strike.

I have that exact clock but mine has black numerals and the pendulum was plain I got it brand new from Sandmark House back in 2013
It is a great clock. It looks good, sounds great, and keeps very good time. We never have to adjust it.
