He's been around for a long time but I feel like only those of us in New York seem to know his older stuff (I'm sure he had fans elsewhere as well). I think I first heard "Cunt Renaissance" back in the 90's but it was too much for me at the time, LMAO. I was like a 16 year-old kid listening to it. His song "A Star Is Born" pretty much explains why you've never heard of him until recently. I never heard of Tech N9ne until like 2003 when he went on tour with the Kottonmouth Kings, Bone Thugs, and ICP on the Wicked Wonka Tour...became a huge fan of his too.
