I have the one with the dial on it. When I hook it up it starts in the white. When I pull the trigger it goes to green but again back to white when I let go. Didn't seem like it's supposed to do that.

Why do you spell it "A/C" meaning A or C?
A slash is confusing, it indicates a relation (as in 1/4 or black/white, I/O etc.).

Can I get the dial or digital gauge to show bar not PSI?

I used the can with the digital reader today. I read all the instructions multiple times and followed them exactly.
The pressure started at 40, but then as I held the trigger to fill it, releasing it every 15 seconds to check the pressure, the pressure gradually went down more and more until it was at 33. But at that point the AC was running cool, which is good. I'm just concerned why the pressure is going down. Could the gauge be misreading? I just want to be sure that I didn't overfill.

Depending on the system design you may have the pressure reading fluctuate a little bit and even go down. When the compressor cycles on the pressure reading may go down. You should read the gauge whent compressor cycles on, which is typically the lowest pressure reading.

The hose has a check valve in it so it will hold pressure and the gauge will show that reading when not connected. You just need to squeeze the trigger to release the pressure to reset.
