So freaking true! We're always morphing from one phase of our journey to the next, from who we were to who we've grown to be, our bodies, style, and mentality evolving to envelop and adapt to us uniquely. I always love how G finds the most beautiful and sometimes sad ways to creatively express these situations in his music. I can't help but feel like it's his personal outlet for many of his own private moments that shine through in his music. So many are conveyed with such emotion and expressed as raw honesty, that many are feel like they're delivered very passionately. Those are some of the reasons why I feel like he connects so deeply with many of his fans on a long-term basis. He seems to convey a deep sense of connection with his humanity and tries to express it to everyone through his music. The production on this album is just masterful. The way the bass sits in the mix is just glorious. The snare is tuned perfect. The guitars are like chocolate pudding. If you understand cool if not oh well. Everything is just lush and lerfect

@@needsmoreclipping sounds nothing like the electronic rock of Science of Things or the minimalistic sounds of Razorblade.. and Sixteen Stone was grungy not power chords. This album is exactly like The Kigndom a few years ago.. clearly the songs come from the same sessions
