I've always been a big bore guy. I carry 9mm just out of necessity. Then I bought a Ruger 57 ... it's light, thin, flat shooting and a delight to carry. I have mine set up with a Holosun 507. I have 20+1 and carry 3 spare mags without any problem. So ... My FN FNX .45 is now in my nightstand and I'm a true believer in 5.7 x28.
I ran 3 different kinds of ammo threw it and I can honestly say I didn’t have one single jam fail to feed fail to eject it ran every single round perfectly. Now maybe I just got lucky and got a good gun but I had no issues at all! And on a side not I got this one used too so I have no idea how many rounds were put threw it before I got it either
From what I remember some batches of the American eagle had issues with the bullets not being seated right and would either wiggle loose or get jammed into the case when it tried to feed
I've not seen that to be the case. I watch and read every review about the Ruger and never had a problem with mine. I've also shot virtually every type of round available for it.
On rugers website the msrp on this gun is $869 I’m aware you can get them quite a bit cheaper than that but if you are going off of Ruger specs like I was with this video then yes msrp on rugers website is $869 or around $900 lol
$900?? I got the new Ruger 57 pro model in silver , without the manual safety for $679 from sportsman's outdoor superstore. I checked Buds and grabagun and they are all about the same price between$ 690-$700 . $900 , that's too much
I was at Academy near Louisville picking up a hellcat magazine and seen one in fde in the showcase. It was the last one in stock (display model) and on it's second price drop. I walked out the door with it for a grand total of $360.39. Once he told me it was $340 and some change before tax I yanked my wallet out fast.

@@maberyscott facts! I haven’t had a jam yet but I do make sure the bullets are loaded correctly. You’re absolutely right!
