if savitar was left alive it would've been the best final season arc for the show because the greatest enemy we face is ourselves. A man who knows kindness and love and empathy and mercy and chooses to ignore it all and hurt even the ones who love him is truly the worst villain of all.

Honestly he is a good idea which was badly executed i think. I mean the design is good an stuff for example, the armor he has is so fucking gool, really makes him who he is, a god complexed speedster who when gets angry his suit actually captures the anger and shows it as well and stuff, also intimidating and hides his hurt feelings and injured body away from the people and shows only what he wants people to think of him. The scary unbeatable speedster But where it fails is that they showed him all powerfull for the most part of the seanson and then inside a few episode he just gets nerfed and killed by a pistol shoot. The very powerfulll speedster killed by a bullet, seriously? It would have been better if let's say he is actually not nerfed down and he is this big crazy guy he was showed at the beginning and he doesn't gets Elsa to freeze down Black Flash and he is gone, but actually fight his fight and stand up against the speedforces worst hanchman. And during that epic fight Flash Wally Garrick Jessy also show up with the whole team as well, and after they almost take him down they all get bodied down, but then they let's say his suit is like ripped apart in the battle and he gets injured down as well in the 1v5 where he can't go that fast anymore and then gets shot, that would be realistic. Like even in seanson 1 Eddie needed to go suicide mode to save the team couse the speedster couldn't do it. And Savitar being from the future (where obvioulsy Flash is far faster than the younger self) and far faster he needs a realistic way of going down. And not just suddenly being weak beaten up and shot in the back. Also if he was an enemy for let's say 2 seansons at least would be better. Let's say they only find out at the end of the 3rd seanson who he is and then they have much more time to build up the fights and weapons they build to take him out. Not just build a weapon in the last like 2-3 episodes and then just lose it and then just beat him up anyway and that's all he wrote. Also along the way he could have killed a few guys to make him actually be very challenging and stuff, couse i don't think he actually took out a single main character or anybody, aside from the Rival and some cops who don't really matter.
but savitar can't run that fast when he got shot. he is not is his suit and is actually in normal clothes. you know he would burn up if he moved too fast. actually that already happened to him thats the whole reason he had the suit. and they didn't reveal it later because Grant Gustin needed some time to actually play Savitar. I agree though they should have had it be a mystery for one season, reveal at the end, and then another one with Grant as Savitar. Or maybe 1st half Savitar 2nd half Barry/Savitar. idk
@@isaacbrown7936 I get what you are saying, but we see time and time again Barry running around in regular suit later on and carryin others and stuff, especially when there is a huge danger and he has to carry away like multiple thousands of people in a very short time, and still noone is buttnaked, so i don't think the clothes are the correct anwser, altho later on i thought about it. I think it's becouse he was basicly dying, since Barry didn't do the bad things and stuff, the paradox were catching up to him, just like when Eddie shot himself, Eobard immidietly felt the effect and was barely able to move and do much while he still had time to kill everyone on the spot but didn't had the ability couse he was basicly dying too. So i would say Savitar was slow and able to be shot at couse he was dying away basicly and after getting shot he disappeared right away too so he was like 5 sec away from complietly melting away, so he probably wasn't that fast anymore
