Calvin, I saw that you can activate a redstone signal whilst using the cameras, you could link that to some pistons that opens a hole to trap the man from the fog. You could also use that to close your piston doors to keep the man from the fog away remotely and to activate a ender pearl stasis chamber for if you really need to go back to your house quickly. Hope this comment helps you with something at least :)
