dear amanda..i always enjoy your pen review and all of your video..i am so grateful fo your contents..so useful, informative, educative for a beginner like me... if you have time..can you please do pen review for kuretake bimoji brushpen?? thank you so much and may you always have good days💖🙏
I had the opportunity to purchase these thankfully for much less than $13. 😂 Your review of them is spot on, unfortunately. To add, the medium tip started to fray after only a handful of uses (with correct hand position and paper). I'll keep them for other things, but it's super disappointing from a lettering standpoint and because the ink coverage is beautiful.
Thanks so much for watching! I'd recommend the Faber Castell Pitt Artist brush pen because they contain India ink instead of the usual water-based dye. Hope that helps! xo
Thank you for the detailed, honest review. I bought these pens a couple months ago. So far, I've just been using them for Japanese calligraphy practice, and they seem OK for that (for the little I've used them up to now). But I definitely want to get as much use out of my pens for Japanese calligraphy, English modern calligraphy, hand lettering, and drawing. It looks like I may not be using these for English, but, like you, I do love the rich black ink. I also love the feel of the bold brush on the (properly smooth) paper. I've found that the Sakura Pigma Professional fine brush has a bit more tendency toward streaking that the Tombow Fudenosuke soft brush (or maybe the former is just more temperamental about the angle at which it is held).
Unfortunately I don't call it anything because I was just getting creative. I was just playing around and writing in a way that would work well for the pen. Sorry that I can't give you an answer!
Hi Amanda, just a suggestion for your awesome pen reviews. Is there any way you would consider doing full swatches of the colors for each kind of pen you have? Often times it’s hard to find the full color range swatched out so you can see every color you’ll be getting. It would really round out your extremely thorough reviews!
Can you please try the Indian add gel brush pens on what's that pen.....they are available on Amazon if you are deciding to try them....btw love from India 🇮🇳
this deserves so much more views.
Thanks for your support, Ash!
