Richard Ramirez, the night stalker in Southern California in 1980s, was caught via the neighborhood potluck. He was beaten with fence posts. The police had to rescue him in order to save his life.

When I was 18 years old in 1966 I was working in the largest modern supermarket in Southwest Michigan. One beautiful August evening I was working stocking my grocery aisle. I heard a scream and at first, thinking it was a kid fussing about something, I ignored it. Then, a few seconds later it was a startling panic sort of scream. As I didn't want to run head on into what was taking place, I ran to the back of my aisle and then moved forward down the adjacent aisle. When I finally realized what was going on, I saw a 6'2", 200 pound guy on top of a girl about 11 or 12 years old. He was a well groomed and well dressed fellow, like a typical professional. In a heartbeat there was about 6 customers on top of him, beating him to a pulp. Finally, they all got up and stood aside. The attacker was laying back in a corner and was unrecognizable, as his face was swollen and blue. But, as soon as the crowd moved away from him, he jumped to his feet and grabbed another woman who was standing there. One of the customers who had jumped on him initially sprung back into action. He leapt at the guy who was assaulting the girl and the woman and got him in a choke hold. I jumped in and got ahold of one of his arms, another customer got his other arm, and another stock boy got him around the legs. I noticed the bad guy couldn't breath and started to turn blue. I asked the guy who had him in a choke hold to let off...but he was in a bit of a frenzy and said, "F__k him!" But, I finally got through to him to let off. We held the guy until the police got there. I recall thinking later, there sure wasn't any bystander apathy taking place that night.

Except now we have prosecutors who refuse to prosecute.

In the Navy while on Shore Patrol five of us (1 officer and 4 enlisted Shore Patrol) had an interaction with a guy that made some B-A-A-D choices. The first was being under the influence. He was told to go back to his ship by the first available boat. No trouble yet.
The second poor decision he tried to go back to town. Now he is in trouble.
As two SP hold him he uses their hold to balance him so he can kick the Officer in the face. BIG Trouble now.
As we try to get him down he hits 2 of the SP’s. Expanding the trouble.
We hog tie him and after maybe an hour the officer tells me to tell our prisoner that if he gives us no more problems for 15 minutes, we will let him get his face off the asphalt. He doesn’t, we do and the prisoner kicks his hobbles and starts to run. Fifth bad choice.
I try to trip him with the baton and can’t. My partner tackles him dropping him face first on the sidewalk.
I came in swinging the baton to take the fight out of him and at the last instant realized that he is not twitching and at this point I have NO justification to touch him with the baton. I extended the strike and hit the sidewalk maybe an eighth of an inch before I would have hit him.
The point being I realized mid swing I shouldn’t hit him and managed to hit the sidewalk instead of him. At this point we were thinking PCP.
The tackle knocked him out for about 30 minutes.

We all enjoy watching a good community dance.
If I'm on that GJ, you get two free hits or one kick into large muscle groups of a violent criminal if it's immediately after the attack. Double that if there is a significant disparity in physical capability with the victim. Dance the night away if the assault was against a child or the elderly.

Justice system is failing too much in todays climate. More so in some states that won’t be named to the point “bad people” need to fear the people of the community because they certainly don’t fear law enforcement or the courts

    Before watching the video:
It crosses the line immediately when it begins, we aren’t allowed to take the law into our hands, we aren’t allowed to dole out Justice, that’s why “We The People” produced the constitution, we created the govt to do all the things established in the preamble
    After watching the video:
    💁‍♂️ exactly

      @jasonshults368 Рік тому

The people who wrote and ratified the Constitution actively engaged in duels. Which makes your argument seem rather incorrect. You don't seem to understand what common law is, and that the Constitution has nothing to do with how the People are meant to interact with each other in a free republic.

Sure the tough guys got away with mouthing off cuz they won the fights , but you damn sure bet they respected the people who fought back afterwards. One thing a bully hates most is a victim who does give them the satisfaction of a fight back.
