- Who doesn't like Biryani, especially when you can make it from the comfort of your home! Today's recipe is a quick Vegetable Dum Biryani. Enjoy and share it with someone who needs to try this at home!

INGREDIENTS -
FOR MARINATION
1½ cups diced carrot
1½ cups Beans (1” long)
2cups Cauliflower florets
¾ tsp Turmeric
2tsp Chilli powder
2nos Cinnamon stick
5 nos Cardamom
2 tsp Shahi jeera
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tbsp Ginger paste
½ tsp Mace
½ tsp Cardamom powder
2 nos Green chillies
1 cup Mint leaves
1½ cup Curd
2cups Onion sliced
1cup Oil
to taste Salt
FOR RICE
3 cups Rice basmati Boiled
3 lts Water
4-5 nos Cardamom
2 nos Cinnamon stick
2 tbsp Salt
1 no Green chillies
1 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Rose water
½ tbsp (approx) Kewra water
(dissolved in 2tbsp milk) - a pinch Saffron
handful Mint leaves
1 cup Green Peas
handful Fried onions
Leftover oil - 3 tbsp
Dough - for sealing
Water from Blanched Rice - 1 cup

Sir, place a smooth later of butter(salted) n sprinkle water n then pour. Butter goes great . N water n salt in butter will act as osmosis process. N pour roasted longh power a pinch n try. 🙏

Tried for the first time and it was veryyyyy goood loved the flavours it gave... Also tried rose water and kewda water and it smells amazing..... definately worth tryinggg.....
Use biryani essence 3 drops per 1kg (use sahi too 2 drops ), dont use kewra or rose

I’m posting my comments only today …as I’m having guests for dinner for whom I’m about to make this Biryani and adding Paneer chunks too!! Last month too I had made it for another set of guests and they complimented me that it was by far the best veg biryani they had ever had!! Thanks for this wonderful yet simple way of preparing it. Earlier I used to be intimidated by just the thought of making biryani at home….. but you have shown a very simple straightforward way due to which my fear of making it has vanished ☺️☺️🙏🏻.
