Tal, the Mourner's Kaddish got me. Actually the prayer is said for the living after a death. For 11 months after the death of a parent, when its a spouse, sibling, or child it is said 30 days. Jews meet in synogogue or their homes (10 men are needed, a minyan) and say the Mourner's Kaddish.

We live in Canada. The anti-Israeli, anti-semitic rhetoric on the streets was not initially stopped by Prime Minister Trudeau. Since then, not much has changed and Trudeau has been verbally berating against Israel in his political focus. He has mainly focused against Mr. Netanyahu, which is the same as being anti-Israeli. I think it is right that you name these as individuals because that is what they are. It was too hard to listen to it all. It bothers me that the leftist all over the world seem to forget that it happened and blame Israel for everything. No country could tolerate attacks like these. Operations in high population areas can't help to have high civilian causalities. My father took part of the liberation of Manila in 1945. Civilian causalities were high, but unavoidable. The people of the Philippians were sad about this but accepted it as unavoidable. The French in Normandy likewise.
