on second thought, the veterans should get brute plasma rifles since they're the same exact shade of red. A tip my friend gave me when I played through halo 3 on his xbox was to give spec ops elites shotguns. I did so in halo 2 and holy damn are the proficient with them!
The Honour guards and spec ops did not use their swords properly because this fight is taking place in the halo CE game engine and in CE enemies couldn't switch weapons like they did in halo 2. Basically these are reskinned CE elites that have some AI modifications to make them seem more like halo 2 elites.
The Zealot Elites ( Energy sword ) hold their own pretty good against the Flood tanks... I wonder how these guys lost the Great Schism in the High Charity. Playing on Heroic/Legendary the Zealot Elites are unstopable killing machines that make Master Chief cry and run back to Dr Catherin Halsey.

@@panzerrjcb I really don't know how the elites didn't simply just stomp the brutes, my best guess is they just didn't know what to do and were just blindsided into thinking it was just the brutes, not the whole covenant against them
@@panzerrjcb Yeah, I mostly think the elites were thinking what the Arbiter was thinking but even more dumbfounded. They thought the Prophets would come in to save them and were so shocked and in disbelief they couldn't do anything proper as they basically short circuited.
How big is the hit radius of the flood tank? The left elite at 1.00 was nowhere near the attack and still died. But another cool video bro. Not sure if you've done this yet but what about halo 2 sentinels vs halo ce sentinels. Also at 7.43 did that elite just say oooohhhh shhhhhiiiiiittt?
