Dr. Careem mentions that Jews married local Sinhalese and Tamil, and chances are that they converted to Catholicism and Anglicanism or even to Buddhism, due to economic and social reasons. After the great Deluge (end of ice age called Younger Dryas) around 11,800 years ago, Indian ocean saw the highest water level due to it's warmth. All the melting water from north and south pole rush into the middle area of the earth, along equator. Many land mass between Madagascar and New Zealand went under water and many large island in the pacific oceans became tiny island and atolls. One of them is, the Kumari Kandam, just southwest of Sri Lanka was reduced to Malai Deevu (Maldives). Then Nadu (South Land) is still among the atolls in Maldives now called Thinadhoo, which is beside another atolls called Kaadedhoo and Mada Veli. During this deluge people sailed out to many other places. Some reached Gulf of Oman and establish Sumerian Civilization. Other group of people reached Gulf of Aden and found a civilization in Ethiopia. One other group reached present day Pakistan and Afghanistan and found the Indus Valley Civilization. You're correct about Kumari Kandam or Sri Lanka could had been the Garden of Eden too Otherwise can anyone tell the reason for a mountain top being named as Adam's Peak. Then came the Ramayana war around 9,700 years ago. This war was fought in and around the Rama Sethu Samuthiram ( Palk Strait ) meaning the sea where Rama died. Rama and Luxmanan both were killed and the Hanuman, Sugriva and their clan members fled to Africa fearing revenge. They settled down in Morocco (Marrakesh), Tunisia, Egypt (Deshret), Sudan. Now came the Mahabharata war, some 5130 years ago. This was fought between the 100 Kerala Kuravar (Kauravar) Chieftains and the 5 Tamil Nadu Pandava Kings. The Kerala Kuravar lost the war and fearing revenge escaped to present day Oman, Yemen, Arabia and settled down there. All these emigrants took with them their ancient way of living called "Aaseevaham". So the connection between Sri Lanka, India to these cultures is not new. It's almost ancient at least goes back 5,000 years. Even the Abrahamic religions were a slightly modified form of "Aaseevaham". I hope everyone know the following song "Hasbi Rabbi Jallallah, Ma Fi Qalbi Ghayrullah Nur Muhammad Salallah Laila Hail LaAllah" These song is also a deformed form of Tamil. Let's see how ! Eleanoor is also a combination of 2 Tamil words. Elaya (Youngest) + Nooru (100) meaning the youngest of the 100 Kuravar, who was their sister Ducchalai, who was later became the queen in a mountain kingdom. Now we can see how the Arabia, North Africa and India are connected.

Hello - interesting information. Do you have references like Links to Books where this information can be found - I'm an enthusiast for history & particularly information about customs, oral & written traditions.
Dr Careem, is articulate, well read, fluent English speaker, and brilliant, BUT he is a rich kid, from some COLOMBO 07/03 background, who went to fancy school and stuff. If poor students are given the privilege and education, they will be super talented like him, and speak English like British man. access to good education, particularly English education is a privilege in Sri Lanka, and Dr Careem has clearly got the best of the best, "the privileged class".
the first part u said he is brilliant and then attributed that to his upbringing,,, Haha!!! so u think class and access to good education is enough without hard work to bring out the best of a man...?? I heard this guy was a medical doctor and left medical stream and followed his passion ,for which u must need some sort of extra ordinary guts as well as a super IQ .. and btw a way person talks and conducts himself is only accessories to life , it does not reflects anything about the persons talent or skill.. its very childish to rely on shallow stuff like school, family background , accent of a language to decide on academic brilliancy...
He's supposed to be 28 years old, and has been to Royal College. I think that your envy is ill-placed. This man also writes very well. Search! He's incredibly gifted, but he's also worked hard to know all this. What we should do is to help him use all this talent for the good of our entire society. People aren't always young! Passallthis on to as many as possible. These are the things that will help us overcome the ill-effects of Geneva 23rd March 2021. Let us be wiser than the "Double-Pakshas".
I think the right question to ask is, Why dont we have more schools of high standards across the country? Why dont governments want to invest money into suburbian/rural schools? The solution isnt to condemn/discredit the privillege of those who were fortunate to enter those schools, but to vote for leaders with pure intent on uplifting the standards of education in this nation. If all the youth were as open and curious to fact-check and research, our 'so-called' leaders wont get voted in. Politicians would actually have to work hard to get their votes.
Regardless, we should be grateful for his passion and to him for sharing his knowledge. I don't think it's wise to assume things of others. Some people work very hard to get where they are.
Thanks for The Lost & The Forgotten.... Please continue and repeat. I am awaiting till next Friday. My sincere thanks to both of you

After the great Deluge (end of ice age called Younger Dryas) around 11,800 years ago, Indian ocean saw the highest water level due to it's warmth.

One other group reached present day Pakistan and Afghanistan and found the Indus Valley Civilization.
You're correct about Kumari Kandam or Sri Lanka could had been the Garden of Eden too

I hope everyone know the following song "Hasbi Rabbi Jallallah, Ma Fi Qalbi Ghayrullah Nur Muhammad Salallah Laila Hail LaAllah"
These song is also a deformed form of Tamil.
Let's see how !
Hasbi: 2 Tamil words together. Aasu (spontaneous) + Ee (offer) => Asufee => Hasifi => Hasbi
Sallallah is deformed from Jallallah: Sal (great) + Allah = Great Allah.
Nur Muhammad Salallah: Great Allah of 100 Mohamad ? Who are the 100 Mohammad none other than 100 Kuravar (Kauravar) from Kerala.
Nur doesn't mean light. Instead "Eleanoor" means light.
Kumari Kandam is first heard of in the sangam literature. However, experts say that the word ‘Kandam’ was a later addition and that only the word ‘Kumari’ is to be found in the said literature. Therefore you cannot really locate the place.
At any rate, by the Mahabharatha time, our country was called Sinhalaya, as it’s mentioned in Mahabharatha.

'Kandam' & Lemuria continent were to distract Tamils from the truth.
It was of course the north Indian Brahmanical Indo-Aryans additions.
But "Kumari" or "Then Nadu" & "Then Madurai" were all mentioned in the Sankam literatures.
Let's have a look at the Maldives island.
All the Maldives islands & Isles are located in a circular pattern.
This suggest a large land mass went under water leaving only the mountain peaks above the water.
Among the Maldivian Islands there is a tiny Island (Isle) called "Thinadhoo".
This "Thinadhoo" is none other than "Then Nadu" mentioned in the Sankam literature.
Therefore the present day Maldives was the ancient "Kumari" or "Then Nadu".
Now we know where the "Kumari Kandam" was in the past.
It was the present day "Maldives" islands and Isles.
Here the word "Then" means south.
Also there is a slogan in Hindu religion (Tamil Aaseevaham), which goes like:
"தென் நாடுடைய சிவனே போற்றி என் நாட்டவர்க்கும் இறைவா போற்றி" ~> which is pronounced as: "Then Nadudaiya Sivane Potri En Nadavarkum Irava Potri" ~> and the meaning is: "Praise the lord 'Sivan' residing in southern country, praise, who is the lord of all countries".

Compare Indian '4 headed lion emblem' and the 'lion' emblem of Lanka.
Because the Island was colonized by a man born for "Sinha" the word "Sinhala" came into existence.
~"The earliest known use of the word "Sinhala" was in 1598 in a translation by William Phillip. The word has multiple origins, including borrowings from Dutch and Sanskrit."~

Wow I never knew the Spanish Inquisition displaced Jews all the way to Ceylon. I thought they were Mizrahi Jews all this time.
@deepalmodi please note that Dr Careem was trained by Tissa Devendra, who has had many years of experience, as a historian, and Government agent. Mr Devendra, who knew Geoffrey Bawa quiet well, has also mentioned that Mr Plesner was a Jew, and for him to have moved to Israel, following his marriage, he must have surely been of Jewish ancestry, like Musaeus Higgins. Mr Plesner was a Danish Jews, as evinced by various writings. Get your facts right Deepal Modi, before you comment
Is mahawansa translated into English by Mary Musaeus Higgins! please explain?
Brilliant programme should be commended Educational I never knew this
This Professor I hope will pubildhs Book so that we can read☮️‼️🤙🌎
Dr. Mick Joachim?
Just to clarify Careem. Ulrik Plesner was not Jewish. He was Danish and left sri lanka when he married a jewish women and settled in Israel.
The 10 lost tribes would have come to Sri Lanka when the northern Israel was scattered and taken by Assyrians.
It is amazing two Muslims are talking about the Jews
You might dont know there are lot of Muslims in middle east who are decedents from Jewish tribes including my fathers family. My paternal grandfather was from a jewish family who converted into Islam in Syria, they settled in India then came to colombo.
@@isharafathima-c9g That's true. If you read in the Bible the Genealogy of Esau's generation is also Middleastern( Jacob's twin).
The more people know the truth that will set them free.
Yes❤
Masha Allah
There is a shop in Pentaho called Ploeck. This must be Jewish . Also there were jews in the board of otter aquatic club.
This anchor is not qualified enough to conduct this kind of program
Nice content
Dear Sirs.
Thanks very much for your historical details.
In the meantime pls do some research about the Jews who settled in some Malabo islands and later they embraced Islam . Our THANGAL clans from the zkerala islands.
There were no any Christians in our historical courts before 9th century.
It's only an insertion from our European colonisers who came here during the 15th Century.

Is Dr. Careem a Jew??
His paternal grandfather was an Afghan Pashtun, and Pashtuns are believed to be the lost tribe, so in a way Dr Careem is of Jewish ancestry
@The Enthusiast What I meant was that the Pashtuns are believed to the lost tribe of Israel. Dr Careem's father is of mixed Afghan-Parsi and probably Malay origin, which makes Dr Careem an Afghan or a Parsi not Malay.

How many tribes all around the world claim that they are lost tribe, including Brahmins of India...
The new israel not true jews ,not yudaa people ,war people kaurawa people sarath ponseka ,came from ancient root
Who in this modern day and age, would want to rely on the historically long discredited Bible for authenticity or even hyperbole? ?!
Because the beginning and the end are mentioned in the Bible. And all the world will see it whether they like it or not. Even the Mahbaratha says the Father and the Son are one... where do you see that apart from the Bible?
😂
Sri Lanka not ceylon
Jews mean kshasthriya war caste ,yuda, yadu ,their one god is god krishna ,melkisedek
Wrong! I practice Judaism and we have no such thing as our G-d. We have only one true G-d and that's Adonai.
Jews Dont mention Thier Gods Name, They Call Adonai Or Hashem
@@Tatziana_ melkisedek mean king of righteousness ,according to bhagawath geetha god krishna is king of righteousness

@@nuwanmc Abraham was known for playing around with idols. Means pagan god's. But he realised HaShem is the only one true G-d and he became faithful to him. He never touched another false idol ever again. So you're wrong in saying Jews pray to a pagan god.

Hello - interesting information. Do you have references like Links to Books where this information can be found - I'm an enthusiast for history & particularly information about customs, oral & written traditions.
@@oleh1886 He is making this stuff up. Looks like Sri Lanka’s upped their crack game 😂
Dr Careem, is articulate, well read, fluent English speaker, and brilliant, BUT he is a rich kid, from some COLOMBO 07/03 background, who went to fancy school and stuff. If poor students are given the privilege and education, they will be super talented like him, and speak English like British man. access to good education, particularly English education is a privilege in Sri Lanka, and Dr Careem has clearly got the best of the best, "the privileged class".
the first part u said he is brilliant and then attributed that to his upbringing,,,
Haha!!! so u think class and access to good education is enough without hard work to bring out the best of a man...??
Give credit where credit is due rather than talking about Dr. Zameer's background or educational abilities.
Both Brilliant Guys Keep it up
My Mom too have told me that there was a Senagogue At Kotehena🥹👍
