Grew up on a dairy farm in canada and we just had one of the tanks with a deflector at the end of the pipe that spread it out in a sprinkler type pattern so this seems so odd to me. how often do you need to clean out the pipes and tubing on this?
Hi there - they seemed to be making light of the job using the Samson kit and two tractor and tanker combos plus a HGV road tanker that brought the slurry from about 4 miles away. What would you suggest that would be better - something like this? ua-cam.com/video/gb1UrY2vsJs/v-deo.html 🙂👍
@@MalcPearce Well yeah. It just seems to involve an awful lol to of handling of the slurry, transferring it from tank to tank. But, I get that that tank can spread over very wide area which helps with ground compaction I expect. Impressive kit 👍

The slurry is from an AD plant so is filtered so as not the block the pipes 👍😎
It's a very impressive operation, but it doesn't strike me as a very efficient way of spreading slurry.

Impressive kit, I get the spreader is on trams but do the ferry tankers cause much compaction?
The tankers are quiet heavy when full, the 4500 will be about 20t!
