Great comment mate, possibly, it would have to be so thick n foggy. I tested lava/ adults, n maybe eggs/ pupa can hadle this fog. I spray ro water in veg to weight their wings making it easier to squash lol. Spinosad is the go 4 thrips in veg i reckon plus it leaves a useful residue
i did a bunch of bro science youtube research and came up with a recipe using castille soap, iso, peroxide and tea tree oil. worked really well and didnt burn anything. really enjoyed your video and watching the pesky thrips die was a bonus
Thanks for the nice words mate. That sounds like a good recipe, just not too much peroxide for a soil drench or see ya to all the rad helpful microbes.
Thx mate, i like to be proved wrong from experiments n enjoyed this 1 too. Its good to have options for the amount of infestation one has in the garden. Small - bio, large - prune/ spray (veg). Happy growing!
@@AussyCC I just accidentally left it on for an hour until I watched this and spayed it clean. Going to check now after a trim of some leaves under the microscope. Fingers crossed it hasn't done too much damage! (Plants are at 6 weeks veg) I also mixed only 70% iso at a 3:1 ratio
@@louispconstant6624 i hope it worked for you mate, your dilution might have saved the girls. Keep the wet for a day or so to reduce cell shrinkage maybe
@@AussyCC Thanks mate, will do. Just gave them another good spray before the lights go off. They looked a little droopy but not too much atm. Looked ok under a scope. Def got rid of the thrips though, can't see one on plant or in soil under the scope. Thanks for the reply!

Cool, the soap is good. Lol, i would rather poop on leaves than plants that die before harvest which has happened, no lol.. They hate water so a regular spray n squish sesh was in full effect lol. Happy growing mate.
Aussy, do you think we could bag the plant and create a micro-fog of RO and accomplish the same result?

I use iso alcohol 99%,deluted with water 1:1 and not get a good result. Thrips still there. Did you use full strength of 91% alcohol?
Yes i did mate. I wash it off within a min odd so the plant tissue dont absorb it and lyse their cells
@@AussyCC ah I will try it bro , thanks for good tips 🙂 And one last question 🤣 How R.O. Water kill thrips ? It’s very interesting.
that was an awesome video bro.... ty for sharing that

Iso works great, but yes you need to rinse it off after a few minutes. I never spray on my flowers though, I had the same issue. Cheers bro. 👊

White oil is good too. Pests not resistant.
Cool, what type of white oil mate? Garlic onion cayenne pepper I've heard are good to repel bugs. I like biologicals.

I use the soap. Pretty easy. Haven't found spinosad in Canada. Like the RO experiment. You have poop on your leaves though!😀

You’re supposed to only smoke the flower anyways if they are pooping on sucker leaves that’s whatever atleast they died
evidence-based, and scientifically balanced.
Thx mate, glad u liked it
ISO burns the plant also
I found that too mate with my 91%, moonshine like 99% evaporates off fast enough to not penetrate the cell & a mate uses this.

I’ve had good results myself using vodka.
Nice 1 mate
So creepy under a scope!
Sure are mate n even better not on my girls lol
