*That money calculation part is so true! Every time I want to buy something from any foreign shops, the first thing that I do is open the calculation and start converting it into rupee😂 So basically I always end up buying things not because I liked them but because they are cheap!*

Yeah, the room would have been good. Not any better than Indian hotels though :) One thing that's different is noone helps you carry your luggage or escort you to the room, like in India. You mostly do it yourself :)

As an indian studying in Europe...I can relate to this so much... especially calculating the exchange rate and getting shocked at the prices 😁
No jet in toilets is the one reason I don't want to travel abroad😕

You can buy a portable jet on amazon. It’s called a bidet spray
Expecto Patronum it’s actually used directly. You just add water to it. It doesn’t have to be attached to anything. There are different kinds the portable ones are kind of like water bottles but with a spray attached
You know what instead taking these kind of CHOCHLAS just take a water bottle along with u... A better one right😂😂
I am staying here in U.S . It's been more than a year, and I can't express how much I miss my country. I feel like crying out whenever I see any new videos of Indian culture ,heritage, city tour & A.R Rehman's "Vande Mataram".
The grass appears to be greener on the other side. Few of my friends always says that I must be enjoying hard here. I am not saying that I don't do that, PR enjoyment to Goa me bhi friends ke saath krte h . U.S is very nice, and treated me very well , par Apne Desh ki mitti ki Khushboo ki bat hi kuch aur h 🇮🇳🤗

You really can't compare exact conversions because the values and incomes are different.
And one packet = 1rs and big packet is 2rs only
But we have to not take it for granted. Save water.

I used to have North Indian friends in US and they used to behave the same way. I was embarrassed and stopped talking to cheap people like that but now I understand that cheapness runs in their blood lolzzz...India is considered as Thrid world country. I moved to US recently. And ek ek cheez relatable hai. Specifically, conversion krna. I do alllllll the time and be like "yaar kitna mehnga hai" :p
Next time buy water from wall Mart (2 bottle for 1$) and eat food from Subway (footlong for 7$).
US is really not that expensive.
For 18$ you can have a full meal in a nice restaurant and you will end up carrying some back to ur hotel.
Also for my Indian brother & sisters you can keep a disposable mug next tym with you to avoid butter chicken smell :P

You can eat a quality buffet in India at a maximum cost of 650-700 RS unless you want to eat posh whereas 18$=1200 I'd say there's quite a difference 🙄

@@rinkiakepapa5625 Well, yes I can. The hotel we stayed in had no one to take our luggage to our rooms. We had take 8 suitcases (big ones) all the way to the third floor. The mall was really big, had no theatres and no place where we could go to eat unlike India. And of course, everything is way expensive in America.

Coming to this video, Most of these situations I faced when I first moved to the US 5 years ago. I still remember some other issues that I faced as a first timer Indian like:
1. Not being able to figure out that the hot dogs are only beef. No chicken hot dogs like we get in India. I accidentally had a beef one the first time and took it out of my mouth right after my first bite. Sorry! Sounds filthy.. 😬. Lesson learnt!!
2. The 15-20% tip culture in restaurants until I myself starting working in one after like 2 years. I always wondered why is it like a thing here. It's the servers' job to serve the food to the guests and they are already paid. Fact check: No. They are Not paid enough. 70-80% of their earnings is from the tips, they are only paid the rest in check.
3. The big portions of food in restaurants. I always used to think ki iska toe aadhaa he kaafi hota. Why am I paying full price. And then asking for a TO-GO box unlike India where you just have to say that 'pack kar do'. Lol!
4. Anyone smiling at you or saying 'Hi! How are you?' Doesn't mean he/she is interested in you or hitting on you. Lol !
5. And last but not the least. Few things that you actually grow over. Like calling the 'Bonet' of a car a 'hood' or a 'Red Light' a 'Signal", or a 'Dickie' a 'Trunk', or 'Washbasin' a 'Sink' or 'Petrol' as 'Gas'... and I can go on and on.
Don't know if i shared too much.. But really truely talking from my experience.. lol.. 😉😉😉😂🎉

LOL when I arrived in India, literally I was crying because of the toilet paper, it was very difficult for me to clean myself with water 🤣. After a year, I think I've handled it very well and it's more hygienic! But I would never try in a traditional toilet.
