They had to have been referencing Dino Thunder with this new Counter Trap, that can't be a coincidence. Also I think I like this thing more than Solemn Judgement, the ability to pop a column is neat for sniping Extra Deck stuff, especially if you use it in decks that already make use of one EMZ to force the opponent into the other one. And for Pendulum there's always that utility from popping scales.

No not at all I run the deck in TCG and I’m constantly and consistently in the top of my locals in a competitive area
