Nice video and props to you for taking your time and AMA for actually discussing this with you! Im an old player, started playing in 2013. Amateurz was truly one of the most powerful of his kind. I remember that era. In my opinion Amateurz was too powerful and ahead of his time for the 2014 - 2015 GrowTopia, GT (including the staff and devs) simply werent ready to deal with such a powerful hacker back then. He was able to hack the database several times, download it, hack mods, and famous players as you already mentioned in the video. At 5:47 imagine being so powerful that you manage to make the GAME STAFF beg you to stop playing THEIR OWN game because they are unable to deal with you lol and also keep in mind that AMA was literally a 15 yo kid back then, the devs were grown adults who probably had more experience with coding than AMA hence their ages.
He didn't hack any databases lol, he just found data from leaked databases and connected it to growtopian mods and he just tried leaked passwords on growtopia and it worked lol
To be honest, I don't think it's wrong at all. He was like the selfish version of Robin Hood, taking from rich and keeping for himself mostly. He gave a lot to people too. People who got hacked by him were mostly scammers and casino players which means they also didn't earn their fortune in legal ways :D pretty fair in my opinion.

I actually do believe that the mod forum posts are genuine, the Portal/Pixel Worlds post from Solsagann is just messed up. Literally just probing a game that didn't really steal anything copyrightable, never stole the UI either it was just a similar color scheme for any legal action is very aggressive and the comment on "Though it would be much appreciated if all the Indonesian players addicted to gambling would kindly migrate there." genuinely shocked me due to the sheer audacity of this comment against Portal/Pixel Worlds, Solsa is basically saying "I hope their situation gets worse and ours gets better!", I get it makes sense from a sort of competitive standpoint but it is still a messed up comment.
Note that this is what I remember from playing old Pixel Worlds when it was still called Portal Worlds. (Changed to avoid copyright with Valve due to general confusion with people mistaking it for a Portal game)

They Use Some tecnics Like DDOS, Man in the middle/Using Bugs/Weak Security for targeting and Make The Hackers as administrator and its high risk for getting in jail/detected by mods
