Never give up looking. Lost a Sola dive light walking back to shore during some insane waves at Bloody Bay Wall at Little Cayman. 7 months later, found said light under the edge of some coral and good bit of silt. Charged it up and it still worked. Barnacles and all. It’s a fraction of the cost of your watch but being persistence is where it’s at. You will find it.
