The Christian point makes no sense at all, he already lost as soon as the scripture said that "god" made the order to go exterminate a group of people and murder their woman, kids, & infants. (and not as a test). Who cares whether or not the prophet was able to fulfil the command or only partly fulfill the command. The order itself is immoral and unjust and its dangerous to base your morality on these corrupted scriptures.
