Hi friends! In this video I will be reviewing the new Dior Plan de Paris eyeshadow palette called L'Etoile. I bought the blue and purple-pink/ Paris combo. They are FABULOUS!!! You can create so many looks with it....and new Dior Foundation stick is pure love for me. Thank you, Dior at last!
I can appreciate the quint as a special occasion glam look, but for the price and quality I’ll stick with my Clé de Peau quad in Azure Blue Sea. It is more subtle and is extremely flattering on women of my age (81).
i live in japan buy strangely i haven’t tried any of the new cle de peau eyeshadow palettes. i love subtler looks too like the ones i get from chanel so maybe it’s time to buy cle de peau.

I have a soft spot for Dior and I'm that type that expects my makeup to last 10+ hours. Yes this palette has quite a bit of fall-out but if you apply it with an eyeshadow primer that has some tack, you'll be fine. I have sensitive eyes and like I said, I expect my makeup to last 10+ hours. And they do have longevity! So, for me, money well-spent. ❤

Chanel blush duo. The Dior blush duo (and the stick products) are not yet available in Europe. At least they're not yet in Germany on the Dior website.. but I wonder which is "better"? Would love to hear your thoughts. Greetings from Germany!
I have the old formula of Denim. After your review, I’m going to find an all over neutral and use it for an updated blue look. Thanks for the info 😊

I thought I wasn't a blue eyeshadow person, but this is really stunning on you! It's definitely a glam evening look - not something for everyday really love the cornflower blue. I loved that cornflower shade that was in the spring Chanel quad too. Especially paired with that gorgeous brown. Thanks for this great review!💕

Hi Sofia, thank you for the honest review, it was really helpful. I really wanted to love the blue one, blue eyeshadows compliment so much my skin and hair tones. But after watching your video it cooled me down by a lot. I dislike glitter, metallic/folio blue formula would've been perfect, I own 1 Pat McGrath pallet and that's all the glitter I need in my life.

I got this one last week and love it! Your look is beautiful, and I’m going to try to replicate it. I wish I knew how to make it show up on my hooded eyes. I have three of the four polishes (plum, cornflower blue, and shimmery neutral). I think this is very different from the Chanel Rivage. I have ordered the pinky purple and cobalt blue liners that go with the Plan de Paris collection, as well as the plum palette. These are coming today, so I am excited to try them! I’m debating whether to go with the new Dior or Chanel blushes that are coming out soon. As for lipstick, I am into the Guerlain Rouge G and their lip oils. Guerlain has the best lippies I’ve ever used!

I realllly want this one....but then I think of how the Byredo blues looked stunning in the pan, and very different on my eyes 😭 😭...and that's holding me back
Blue is not my color, I use pink and brown eyeshadows everyday but the palette is very pretty! I also see it as a going out in the evening palette, I think adding a less glittery more matte eyeshadows neutral could make it easier to use. I'm not gonna buy it but the concept is nice 😊
I was so attracted to this quint, but THANK YOU - you saved me money! I have the YSL and Hermes blue (I am just wanting all blue palettes this year) and I am going to remain happy with what I have. I mean, blue isn’t an everyday palette for me, so why was this one calling to me? Now I need to see the rose one and be talked about of that one! 😂
You always knock it out of the park with your looks no matter how mid the products 💯 During the demo i was like oof that looks *v similar* to the hermes and lo and behold you recc it over the dior! I have the vegetale which i love and pretty soon im gonna have to get the marine as well. Blue eye looks are so finicky for me bc i need to take more care to conceal but they always look so special it’s an occasional necessity lol. Can’t wait for the upcoming hermes video!!!!

Lovely eye look on you! I wonder if the more neutral Dior palettes are as extra as the blue one? Personally, I'm going to wait it out until the year of blue eye makeup ends...
I wonder if all of the color stories are glittery because I was thinking of getting one but I don't want glitter I want the sheen type shimmer and metallics. It does look pretty on you though.

The Dior Paris limited collection is stunningly beautiful. Very pricey because of the packaging. I am have been interested in eyeshadow palette #083. However the key word of 6 months shelf life have me rethinking. I may be interested in the limited edition of cushion foundation and lipstick. I will go to Taiwan and may find more options in that part of the world.
I love that the case is different. Kinda like their bags. Love your honesty and review. Off topic with Dior. Their stick contour is $95 or $90. That’s crazy. It’s not here tho,and the stick foundation. ❤

I have the Hermes Ombres Marines and I love it. I assume that the 3 others Dior quints are as glittery as this one. Due to the formula and 6 months shelf life I will skip this collection.
I will wait for the new Hermes limited edition quad. Even that one has one blue shade but I will create a look with the other 3 shades and use the blue as an eyeliner.🙂

The palette looks so pretty on you! I was hoping that the peachy/nude shade was a satin too....as pretty as this is to look at, I have to be honest with myself and know that I just won't wear blue other than as a pop of color with neutrals. I do need one of these though! 😀

Love the Plan de Paris, but the colors are not interesting when there are similar palettes with better formulas. Too expensive to just buy for the pouch.

Love this look on you. But it is not very wearable, and this is coming from a blue lover! I wish they had less glitter more effortless shades. Not a dior vibe I have to say! I love the blue chanel palette from spring collection. Not the same, but it's a great blue palette
