These are the cars we did not see in Canada or America. Why did we get stuck with some Vauxhalls in the 1960's while not seeing one of these on our roads? Very cute & attractive.
This was because Bristol had no real sales organization. As a matter of fact, from the time Anthony Crook took over the company as sole owner, the showroom in Kensington has always been the only point of sale worldwide. So it is perfectly logical that the vast majority of Bristols stayed in Britain and were RHD.
Just before Bristol cars were wound up they built a Blenheim 4 . It had a revised rear end, improved air conditioning, heated seats and mirrors and a cleaned up dashboard. Only one example was built, in light blue.
Yes this was on special request by a customer. That said, Bristols were all individually built anyway. By the way, this car is for sale currently. It is being offered by SLJ Hackett for 150k pounds.
