If you want to feel like a backcountry 19th century fur trapper…get the Hudson Bay from Condor. It’s freaking awesome! Gonna be the meat processor/hunting/and sometime cleaning knife. I got mine this week. And thanks…I’m a vet.
Got my ATROX a week or so ago and LOVE it. The Moonshiner is due to be delivered by the end of the week. Will take your advice on the blade varnish. I’m assuming you used linseed oil on the wood handles? Thanks for sharing brother. They’re beautiful blades.
What do you consider the difference in use like. I love condor so far, i have the golok machete and greenland pattern hatchet. Was looking into buying one of these two blades but am not sure wich one. The ironpath seems to have a longer taper than the moonshiner and im wondering if it affects it in chopping etc...
@@tonymontana-qp5ox You two my friend. Condor is a awesome company. Now the woodbuster model is really the blade that will eat wood like da beaver. Just a massive beast of a blade. And priced really well. Have fun my friend and stop by anytime
condor is hit or miss, you wither get a beast or a bleh, there heat treat needs better consistency, sometimes they hold an edge like nobodies business, other times butter knives are tougher
Love Condor Knives...i have the Undertaker and Hudson Bay...not finished yet...lol
Condor makes no-nonsense blades, simplicity, power, and beauty, all forged into one. Outstanding!
Thank you my friend. Sorry it took so long to get back.

Boiled leensed oil on the handles and hopes number 9 on blade. Once you get the varnish off you will definitely see a beautiful blade underneath 👍🇺🇸🇨🇦

If it’s for wood cutting go with the iron path. Much heavyer blade and just a all out bad ass blade
@@donavantew8278 thanks for the advice was leaning towards that one before i saw the video. Have a good one brother.

What steel is the Ironpath?
Some sources say 1075, others say stainless.
