Dear Shamim and Hanan, what a cinematic treat! This movie has deeply touched & inspired me! I loved the well-developed characters and the ways they defied the cruel reality of apartheid around them! The storyline of Jacob and Madeline broke my heart... Especially the scene where she had to pretend he was her driver! Now I need to read the book, to learn how their story ended...Wish they could be together! Well done for bringing apartheid and the horrible racism to the forefront with the amazing storylines and characters! And the story of Miriam and Amina is amazing too. Thank you, I am forever your fan and follower and will order Shamim's books! Very best to you all, many more successful realisations and projects!

The film (TWU) was perfect as originally shown, but it was interesting to see the "deleted" scenes. I love the movie. Thank you, Shamim, Hanan, Lisa, Sheetal, and all involved!
I cannot tell you enough how much these movies mean to me. First watched ICTS and TWU a decade ago when I was still processing who I was. Loved to see south asian representation on screen. Lisa Ray (who I had already seen in Kasoor and Water) & Sheetal Sheth playing characters that I could see myself in.The characters helped me and gave me that much needed embrace at a time where I wasn't fully out. Thank you so much - from an out and proud Gujarati Indian British Gay Woman.
Personally I prefer I can't think Straight because it is a love story in it's entirety. This movie had romance as a sub theme and racism and/or apartheid seemed to be in the forefront. I just wish it was longer and there were more scenes shared between the two leading ladies

Both movies are so beautiful. First of all, both Actricess are linking each other for the play. So, the fact of both movies showed the determination of two women in differnt countries Afirca and London. Those kind of movies are very open minded; which is a good example of this is the real world.
