Well done brotha! 💀 🔪 🩸 👏 Would love to see you cover Nightmare On Elm Street on NES next 🤠 As much as I love Friday I think it’s even better! It’s such an amazing platformer 💪🎃
This was incredible, Christian. I remember rushing out to get a copy of Friday the 13th at my local Disc Replay immediately after i saw the AVGN episode. It was shortly after i started getting into the movies, so i was hyped. My Dad had the NES and SNES already as he had been an avid gamer in the 80s and early 90s, Donkey Kong Country being gis favorite, I'd play with him from time to time. Friday the 13th's music always kinda creeped me out as a kid, and I'd always wait until it got dark outside before i even thought about putting that cartridge in, just for an extra creep factor. I still have my copy and play it every now and then. I can't help it, i love the damn thing. I'd love for you to make more of these kinds of videos, man. I really get a kick out of hearing about your childhood. And you know... Hyperstone Heist has GOT to ve next. 😎
I remember my friends renting Friday the 13th from the video department at the local grocery store. We didn't know what to expect when we popped it in, and although we had fun initially we ended feeling disappointed by its gameplay. These days, however, I have alot of love for this game from both a nostalgia standpoint and as a Friday the 13th fan. I was lucky enough a few years back to get John Carl Buechler and Kane Hodder to sign my NES box for the game.😊
Fun fact with the purple color for Jason the development team for reference images was given a Japanese press release kit for Friday the 13th part 3 and there was some artwork of a purple Jason
I was ten when this came out, and rented it from the grocery store (which was the style at the time.) Later that year ABC ran Jason Lives one Saturday night, so those are two really good memories of that year.
I remember being so frustrated with this game but ended up figuring it out way later as an adult. RetroNate has a really good walkthrough, only takes an hour or so to complete 😎
I beat this. I didn't know Chrissy was a better character but I always used her because she was from the movies. The trick to moving along the map is its backwards. Go left to move clockwise along the map and go right to move counterclockwise
Happy Friday the 13th. I was able to beat it. If you can get the torch or pitchfork it is way easier because they take more of his life away. You have to kill him 3 times to get the ending.

There are two different posters for Part 3 that have Jason in the blue and purple color scheme.

I love this video man. Maybe one of the best ones you’ve ever done. Gets me in the spirit for some nes!
Really enjoyed this different style of video. Good stuff

Love this game.
My family had this game. Being the early 1990’s, with no internet, I had no clue how to play it.
