I always like the footage with the cam under the peak best, feels less like sitting on your head like a passenger, audio is mint with little wind noise and crystal clear voice of yours and it might even handle the exposure changes between light and dark spots better because its not always blasted with sunlight from all angles. I think whether it works for you as the pilot also depends on your posture in the bike, i.e. how much you tilt your head back vs looking up with your eyes. I just watched this with my son. We have ridden all these trails many times, so we really appreciate how seriously impressive it is to ride those lines that fast in the wet. That was just excellent, and yes, the annoying camera position is perfect. Too bad about Duffman being closed!

try a chin mount to avoid the nuisance of it impeding vision. probike3d make all kinds of excellent low profile mounts that are helmet specific.
I run the chin mount a fair bit but they get splattered when it’s muddy hence the under peak this time 😂👊🏼
