I was test driving a new mod Y at 70 mph pushed gas pedal, i know lol, when power was increasing got a loud high pitch sound, almost like a dog wistle, kinda was really annoying, do all do this? kinda like a turbo squeal but very high freq.
I am getting a dual motor long range Y too. This week. And it's from Austin too. So I'm pretty excited for the features you talked about. Especially the headlights and the suspension. That's a huge deal and the quietness of the car. Thanks for talking about the glass, the carpets for noise, the headlights and the suspension. Do you have any more details about what changed on the suspension?
@@timothynguyenn I'm happy to hear this. Sounds like it's a bunch of refresh upgrades before the actual physical front and rear body changes. And the physical interior upgrades with led lighting strip and back LCD control screen..
They are new for the Model Y. Was introduced around March 2023 actually. What you are referring to “Jan 21” is probably the Model 3. 😂 + It's also new for the Austin, TX builds. Before then, only the Fremont, CA Y builds had Matrix Lights.
Makes me wanna see you take it on a road trip!
I might be taking it from Chicago to Detroit, we’ll see 😂

Yes all Tesla models do that. It’s an acceleration sound, I think it’s pretty cool in my opinion.

Honestly I don’t know much about the suspension, but from my experience, I know it’s softer, the ride is more comfortable and less bumpy.

Do you know what the battery construction is for example, 4680 lithium ion or LFP?
4680
Why did you go 2023 and not 2024
There is currently no 2024s that are delivered yet.
Those matrix headlights are not “new”.
They were introduced in Jan 2021.
