I live in Malaysia and I know the inter mixing with women is very common in here its cos of the Malay culture. In fact almost all the marriages in here are mix unlike in my country. As for in work places socializing is very tough to do but alhamdulillah I have managed to do that in recent years

Some of us in Muslim minority countries are really suffering because we sit together with ladies in schools, vehicles, work places etc
I never used to get this, but is seems that many men take any friendly greeting or standard chit chat with a woman as "Hey, maybe she's flirting with me, maybe I've got a chance". This is why women sincerely believe they can just be friends and colleagues while men may feel otherwise. Women really feel only friendship for a vast number of men and that's it and it's easy to work with them. In the West, men just have to deal with feeling attracted to women at work (much more often than the reverse). It's expected that men learn to control themselves. Prudent men and women learn to navigate situations in the working world to remain faithful to their life commitments. In the Islamic world, the only acceptable solution seems to be an apartheid system easy for men but excessively restrictive of women. And...men don't learn how to reasonably collaborate with the opposite sex.
Interesting question coming from a center in Malaysia...

He is hundred percent correct..one of my colleagues n friend reverted and came closer to me to learn islamic thing so i gave her space in my life..she herself made space in my husband’s life and after some period of time i found out i was the third person between them they had an affair n secretly married which i found out when they were one year old husband n wife…😢😢😢

What is sad is the attitude of the woman; many times she is the one who initiates even though being a hijabi or a hajjah. SubhanAllah.
I recently accompanied my husband to his corporate event. None of the males shook hands with me, bcoz I did not initiate it. Then comes one of his collegue, a hijabi and a hajjah and she reaches out her hand to shake hands with all the males at our table and sure enough they did shake hands well......SubhanAllah!
I was so disturbed.
And their conversations ever limited to work, it's giggles and laughters and everything else.

I want to ask, Khadijah (RA) used to work and the Prophet (PBUH) used to work in the same workplace as her ? also at the time of the Prophet (PBUH) the mosque used to have only one entrance and exit for both males and females and also there was no barrier or curtain in the place where both men and women prayed, so men prayed in front and women at the back but without any barrier and curtain, so I want someone maybe to enlighten me more about this, like why at that time this was allowed
Ruling of hijab came way after khadija RA time, and auzubillah! she didn't work at the same workplace as prophet Muhammad SAW! She just dealed with him SAW from her house and he SAW did the job.
Mosque used to have one entrance but it was ordered for women to leave first then after some time men to leave.
And about the barrier.. women were already in hijab and on the backside so no men could see them. No free mixing whatsoever.

Im moving countries and so my future school is kinda haram like we got musical activies and theres freemixing there and so if I do it privately, I can be saved from it but that school has a lot of good opportunities so..and im a girl. The people there are not your average joe, they are good and strong people who will respect you snd stuff but yah theres freemixing there so. I do have an option to do it privately in that case, itll just be online but I wont be able to do any extracurricular activities and so my chances of getting into a good uni will DROP. Someone help

Sheikh needs to understand that not every man is the same description as what he describes. I work in an engineering team and I am the only female there. My co-workers are very respectful and respects my prayer times. Sheikh needs a reality check that every human being are not created equal.

We wouldn't know who is the majority and who is the minority, only Allah knows what is our intention. So please don't tell me that the rulings in Islam are for the majority. There is no such verse in the Quran that speaks to the majority. The verse speaks to ALL. However this video is about the Sheikh needing a reality check that all human being are not the same, they are not created equal, we are all different. A Sheikh has all these knowledge but cannot generalize for the majority when the verses in the Quran says otherwise.
