The child support is for the child, not her. Judge said at the child's age, $2500 / month is plenty for his little food, little clothes/shoes, recreation and school. The judge figured at her big age Britanny can get a job and earn an income to support herself. The judge was right. I'd be curious to know if the judge's color and gender.
@v.a.993 my comment referenced a change that the child will be going through/may have already gone through (going to school), which, in many states, is a key inquiry when determining if the child support amount should be adjustmented. Nowhere did I mention the support being for Brittany. But inevitably, the support will benefit her because she's the custodial parent .....if Brittany is unhoused, so is the child...so not sure exactly what your comment is referencing.
Family law is premised on keeping ppl off welfare, so it's odd that the amount is so low especially given that she was a fitness model and getting pregnant inevitably slows that kind of modeling down, which likely affected her income. In addition, wealthier non-custodial parents tend to pay more bc, depending on the state, the court will want to give the child a comparable lifestyle.
