নতুন অর্থবছরের প্রথম ১৮ দিনেই বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক ১০ হাজার ৮শ’ কোটি টাকা ছাপিয়েছে। রাজস্ব আয় ও বিদেশি সাহায্য দিয়ে সরকারের বাজেট ঘাটতি পুরণ করা সম্ভব না হওয়ায় এই টাকা ছাপানো হচ্ছে। এর ফলে চলমান মূল্যস্ফীতি আরও বাড়তে পারে বলে আশঙ্কা বিশ্লেষকদের।
