I really like these Sundown videos. Very informative. And people think the south is bad. I am sure when you get to Oregon and Washington there are a LOT of sundown towns.

Remember, a few years ago that black actress from Django Unchained who was having relations with her white boyfriend was arrested and he was not, in Burbank.
I remember the story my grandpa told me about Fontana California and a family called the Short’s who bought land and constructed a home and their home was firebombed and they all died cause they wouldn’t move and was told they were “out of bounds” and being threatened. they contacted fbi, black newspapers and the sheriff and nothing was done to protect them.

California is my homestate and it is indeed filled with WS. Not only in LA County, but in the Orange and Ventura Counties too... and that's just in SoCal alone. The racism is just as bad if not worse up in Northern California. I already know there will be more sundown towns in Cali then there are in Arkansas.

From Googling "los angeles" "sundown town", I just now discovered that Inglewood, Hawthorne, Culver City, Glendale, and more cities once had sundown ordinances against black people. No one ever taught us this important history.... smdh

Someone would need to do deep research into this topic to see if there are any remnants of WS control, whether it be outright blatant or more subtle/hidden. Correction paramount studios is not in Burbank. It’s in West Hollywood. Warner Bros, Disney are in Burbank. Fox is near Westwood/Brentwood. I live near the studios.
