Spoilers the Original series / the VN's. I have already seen episode 6, but thankfully I posted enough comments on Episode 5 videos that I know what I would have said if I had not already seen episode 6. In terms of Mion/Shion and who is who at any point, I think it follows the Original Watanagashi VN. Keiichi meets Shion at Angel Mort. Mion pretends to be Shion to bring Keiichi the food. Mion pretends to be Shion when Keiichi has the run in with the thugs. I think that Mion will be the one who goes L5 this arc. However I am also willing to admit that Mion going L5 is so obvious that somebody else is probably going to go L5 instead. It makes sense however for it to not be Shion who goes L5. In Onidamashi, Rika expected Keiichi to go L5, so Rena going L5 instead caused Rika to screw up and give Keiichi bad advice. In Watadamashi, Rika is either going to expect Shion to go L5, or she is falsely going to think that giving the doll to Mion averted that chain of events (I think Rika overestimates the importance of the Doll). However, Hanyu has seemingly been removed from the world, so when (if?) they break into the Ritual Equipment Storehouse, Shion is not going to hear Hanyu stomping around. Will that be enough to stop her from going L5? As for Rika and Satoko's deaths in episode 4, I think Rika killed Satoko and then herself. If Rika thinks the GHD will occur because of her death, killing Satoko would be a mercy killing. Something outside the original story is interfering with things. Who is reincarnating Rika into new worlds? Hanyu told Rika that Matsuribayashi would be the last world, she had no power left to take her back again. But now, somehow Rika is going back again when Hanyu is just an echo of her former self? Something is messing with Rika. I think this somebody influenced Rena in Onidamashi. I think this somebody will influence Mion in Watadamashi.
