This is honestly one of my go to albums. IMO Damian Marley outshines Nas a little, but that's not a knock on Nas, it's just that he's on another level. That said, they complement each other well.
It was Damian’s project so makes sense. I liken it to Jay on Watch the Throne. It was Kanye’s project and it featured a lot of Jay, but Kanye had the more memorable performance.
This is a good first track. List to the album next! Fantastic Classic album NY in the 90s and 2000s was a great mix of Hip Hop and Reggae/Dancehall. You got an L! perfect for this! lol This album was a great combo of conscious Hip Hop and Reggae. I think NAS should try to make a Distant Relatives 2 I think if he did that after the Premier album he would solidify his position as number 1 (In my opinion!)
