What will happen when RBI start printing less money as compared to present. If RBI want to appreciate value of rupee. Does it possible by printing less rupee?
Under which act of INDIAN CONSTITUTION RBI prints currency? I am not talking about RBI ACT 1935 but act of indian constitution. And RBI is INDEPENDENT body or under the jurisdiction of indian government? And printing currency for citizen is unconstitutional then how can be it's legal for RBI?
Excellent sir.. please make more videos on economics and public administration. Happy Christmas sir. May God bless you ,your family and officer's IAS academy.
Also Sir, what will happen if the predicted GDP or predicted 'Production of Goods and Services' for next year is not met. For example, RBI printed 225 lakh crore for the year as per prediction but on year end, it was found that the Production went only for 200 lakh crore. For example, in the current pandemic situation (COVID-19), most of Industries are closed. What will happen in that scenario ?
It will increase inflation. That's why shutting down country's economy is dangerous for such long period. Most people in India don't understand the consequences of lock down. I hope people don't end up dying with inflation in the days to come.
Gold is not a commodity, except as a food stuff, and or nutritional supplement. As one cannot own gold, it is also not a reliable backing for a monetary exchange system.
Thanks for the updated information. In our country we have plenty of natural resources , mainly agriculture sectors.can the standing crops like sugarcane banana bamboo and Paddy can be kept reserves for developing flourishing improving productive measures of agriculture products and services and allied activities to save the lives of the poor deprived desperate farmers and victims and progressive steps taken by the country for a balanced and stable market and fair price for their products and services and insurance coverage and government relief fund to the needy poor deprived desperate farmers during natural calamities. Kindly do needful and oblige to develop progress and flourish agriculture sectors which is our backbone of our country and wipe the tears of the farmers when there is no fair price for their products and services like this lockdown period situations and depression undergoing by the farmers without any transportation facilities to sell their products always in any other situations when there is no purchasing capacity like today generation is facing.kindly advice for the welfare of the poor farmers even though there is facilities for write off loans borrowed in the banks . What will they do for their food and other expenses as immediate relief . Some banks offered additional loan with the existing loans as special relief after getting permission from the authorities concerned. But everyone are not aware of it. Kindly do something productive progressive to save the lives of the farmers who break down and commit suicide during unforeseen circumstances and causes prevailing in the situation/country
He saying this all while having a good smile on face, whereas in upcoming decade there will a chaos because of zero intrinsic value currency all over the world
Incase rupee is no longer accepted internationally, gold reserves will be used . I think this was done in 1991. (answer based on my sense, not researched) For example if govt has printed too much paper money or too much counterfeit has happened, the real money (Gold) is used
Sir I have a simple doubt hope that you answer it ,if gold rates are fluctuating then does the 115 crore worth gold gets removed ex now 10gm worth gold is 50000 rupees few years back it was 30000 rupees now by that standard rbi now has 66% more gold reserve than earlier
Great Explanation Sir 👏👏 This video has caused curiosity to know more. I still have some questions - for printing currency, Government would be keeping 105 lakh crore Gold as Reserve and 85 lakh crore foreign currency with RBI every year, then how Government is bringing this much gold every year ? Does the production of this Gold also considered in 'Value of Goods and Production Services' ? Also what RBI is doing with this much gold collating every year ? Also what about thee Foreign Currency that Government is keeping reserve with RBI ? They would be purchasing it from foreign countries so ,what about the amount being used for purchasing it ? By the time I get your response, I will try to search for answers in some other videos. But still I would like to learn from you about these queries. ☺️ Thank you very much in advance ☺️
Cos GDP is not of much use in measuring economic growth.. GDP doesn't even take into account debt servicing costs.. Have u evwr wondered how a nation like US which has a 19 trillion dollar debt has higher GDP?.. Sab moorkh banane ke dhande hai.. The day central banks monopolise currency printing without gold/silver or precious metals reserve inflation starts rising and keeps rising forever.
Sir could you please tell me, Who can get the money by giving the gold to RBI. Can every one do that or restricted to certain person ? Please please reply sir,

Well if the RBI is printing money keeping GDP projection then how could be explained the high rise in inflation?
Cos GDP is not of much use in measuring economic growth.. GDP doesn't even take into account debt servicing costs..
