Martimoaapa - a day hike in February. Hiihtoretki Martimoaapalle helmikuussa 2020 (4K)

EN. A day hike to Martimoaapa mire protection area.
Martimoaapa is a large bog region with wide open landscapes and marked routes.
This time I spotted some willow ptarmigan tracks and snow depressions where they had slept, and even saw some birds running and calling out in the distance (did not manage to capture them on video).
After a lunch break near the wilderness hut at the center of the reserve, I circled back to where I started, just in time before it got dark.

Martimoaapa on suuri suoalue kauniine avoimine maisemineen. Suolla on muutama merkitty reitti joita pääsee kesällä kulkemaan pitkospuita pitkin.
Tällä reissulla näin runsaasti riekon jälkiä ja yöpymiskieppejä, sekä muutaman riekon juoksentelemassa ja huutelemassa kauempana suolla.
Pidin lounastauon lähellä alueen keskellä olevaa autiotupaa, hiihdin rengasreitin suolla ja pääsin lähtöpisteeseeni juuri ennen pimeän tuloa.
