And with Dearfield nowadays it's turning into a National Park and being restored back into its original state and then later on in like (2-6 years) it'll become a tourist site where people will be able to stop in and buy apparel from it and also get tours or go look through the different buildings there able to fix up and restore.
@HashtagColoradoLife ooh yeah for it's great that there doing it and preserving the Townsite before it gets worse and just completely crumbles/rots away. Same I'm huge into history stuff, yeahh indeed it's always great when they can restore stuff and bring it back to it's original state of condition.
My 5 year old daughter and I lived in Lawrence Colorado, part of the Cripple Creek gold district. We would find broken china and pieces of porcelain dolls faces and hands on the dirt road going to the town of Victor to catch the school bus. We hauled our water and now we have really long strong arms😂❤❤
I’m headed to Canon city to raft the Royal Gorge fir my 50th with my best friend. Any recommendations on your opinion for sweet places to use my metal detectors while photographing ghost towns/adventuring old mines and trying my hand at hunting/panning the rivers for gold! Lol.

I would love to be able to afford a ghost town with or without ghost's lol.
Yes, ghost towns are so unique and full of history. It would be so cool to own one! And maybe even do ghost tours. :)
